Are you interested in modern or ancient Greek?

Both. Know Attic Greek from college.

Do you already speak Greek, or are you learning/wanting to learn?

Still learning modern, slowly ;)

  •  Thank you for your welcome. Sometimes it takes me awhile to respond because I share this computer with three others, so I sometimes have to wait to use it. I can't wait to meet you all, I have signed up for the mayan calender discussion.

  •  I hope we can meet in person sometime--in the summer I get down that way sometimes. As you can see from my pic I am interested in the Hellenes (and and the Egyptians, and the Native Americans, etc.) though my main background is Celtic. I too have taught for many years, both at the college level (literature) and both formal and informal cirlces and groups. Merry Meet, Gitana!
