About Greek Language & Culture Meetup (NYC)
Welcome to Greek L&C NYC!
The goal of the group is simply to explore the wide variety of Greek culture available to us in New York City, so you are invited to come share an ouzo or some mezedes, or to soak up some culture. Our regulars are a friendly, interesting, and fun group, and we're always glad to welcome new people, no matter what your interest in Greek language and culture is.
We frequently meet to attend cultural events, ranging from folk dances to films to museum exhibits, as well as sometimes at a cafe or restaurant, where we get to sample various kinds of Greek food & drink. In the past we have had people interested in co-organizing Conversation Practice Meetings for members who are interested in improving their Greek language skills in a more structured way.
